Ok- first off, tee shirts. I have been on the hunt for some amazing basic tee's that aren't too long, too short, too tight, too shear, too expensive, too low cut... and I could seriously go on. Every time I run into the mall, target, old navy, etc, I always grab a tee shirt and think, "this is the one.. the one that is going to work for "everyday." Sike. Well, I found one that I'm loving so far last week with my mother and sister in law at the outlets! It's from J Crew Factory, comes in tons of cute colors and fits great. I'm wearing a size Small and love the fit. It's also not a V-neck which is so great with the kids as I'm bending down and over a lot. The name of the tee even sounds perfect for summer: "The sunwashed garment-dyed pocket tee." hah The best part is it's only $15! Perfect. I bought the white and the blue, but if they continue to wear well I will prob grab another color or two (after April of course!)
Which brings me to my second point.. this past weekend I went shopping with my BFF in Dallas and it was April 1. (If you haven't been following along, you can see why I'm doing "No Shop April" here.) I did try on some ADORABLE things at Zara and only used some money I had from my birthday that I had been saving for this trip! So all that to say... yes I used that money April 1 but now I am on my spending freeze. YIKES. lol Just needed to justify why I spent money in April. lol
This blog is good accountability!
oh.. and I forgot.. I got this scarf and totally decided to go for it around my neck like one of my favorite bloggers, Julia from Gal Meets Glam. I'm loving it! Totally made my white tee and denim shorts super fun! Try it!
